Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After an attempt on Jeffrey’s life, Coulson and Mack escort him to safety… and discover the secret of his Inhuman abilities. Meanwhile, Fitz promises the decapitated Aida that he’ll try to restore her, and Melinda wakes up in Holden’s apartment.
Our Take
A solid but slightly mid-season filler hour that finally pays off the mystery around Jeffrey’s powers, and the reveal lands better than expected thanks to some decent action beats. The Fitz and Aida subplot is creepier than it probably intends, while May’s storyline mostly just marks time. Worth watching for the payoff, just don’t expect the season’s momentum to pick up here.
