Summary
Coulson sends a strike team to eliminate Hive before he poses a danger to the world. Meanwhile, Mack tries to save Daisy, and Lincoln insists on taking the anti toxin that Fitz-Simmons has created to defeat Hive’s parasites.
Our Take
This one treads water. The Hive standoff keeps promising escalation but mostly delivers talky scenes in gray corridors, and the antidote plot moves things forward only inches. Mack gets the best material as he refuses to give up on Daisy, and his stubbornness grounds an otherwise flat hour. Fine if you’re keeping up with the season, but it feels like setup for better episodes ahead.
