Summary
The world turns against S.H.I.E.L.D. when Hydra impersonates them to attack The United Nations, and an unexpected enemy leads the charge to bring about their downfall.
Our Take
A solid midseason hour that leans into the political fallout of Hydra’s stunt, and the show is better for it. The Hunter and Bobbi material finally gives us something to grab onto, and Ward’s screen time is genuinely unsettling. It still feels like table-setting for bigger moves, though, and the pacing sags in the middle. Worth a watch, just don’t expect fireworks.
