The end of The Road.
Our Take
This is the payoff episode, and for the most part it lands. The big reveal about what the Road actually is reframes the whole season in a satisfying way, and Kathryn Hahn gets to play grief, guilt, and manipulation all at once. It runs a little heavy on exposition near the end, but the final scene sticks the landing. Worth the wait.
