Summary
The coven faces their first perilous trial on The Witches’ Road.
Our Take
A bottle episode built around one house and one trial, and it mostly works thanks to the cast bouncing off each other. The wine dinner premise is creepy fun, though the middle stretch repeats itself and the scares lean on jump moments more than real tension. Patti LuPone gets the best material. Solid, not spectacular, but worth the half hour if you’re already invested.
