Summary
While judging the hugest Battle of the Bands in the history of Ooo, Finn hears a mysterious new song.
Our Take
A quiet, oddly melancholy episode that trades adventure for a story about being overlooked. The songs are hit and miss, but the Music Hole’s ballad lands with real feeling, and Finn’s reaction to it gives the whole thing weight. It’s short and slight, more mood piece than plot, but the ending sticks with you longer than most louder episodes do.
