Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When something threatens her homestead’s citizens, Bubblegum turns to Marceline for help.
Our Take
A welcome return to the Bubblegum and Marceline pairing, and their bickering carries the whole episode. The varmint-hunting plot is thin, but it works as an excuse for the two to dig at old wounds while wandering through gorgeous abandoned tunnels. The ending lands a quiet emotional punch that longtime fans have been waiting years for. Easy recommend.
