Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Finn and Jake follow the Lich of the Citadel, where Finn meets his estranged dad. But just how far does the apple fall from the tree?
Our Take
A heavy, surprisingly dark half hour that shifts the whole direction of the season. The Lich stuff is genuinely unsettling, and Finn’s reunion with his dad lands with a sad thud that feels earned rather than melodramatic. The pacing drags a bit in the middle, but the emotional payoff at the end hits hard. Worth watching even if you’re only casually following the series.
