Summary
After Flame Princess battles Ice King, Finn has an exciting dream. But when it abruptly ends, Finn must get FP and IK to fight again to find out how it ends.
Our Take
This is an uncomfortable hour, and intentionally so. Finn’s dream obsession pushes him into genuinely selfish territory, and the show doesn’t let him off the hook for it, which makes for a more interesting watch than your average wacky adventure. The dream sequences are a lot of fun, but the emotional fallout is the real point. Worth it for where it sends the season.
