Summary
A long lost artifact causes Princess Bubblegum to harken back to the creation of the Candy Kingdom.
Our Take
A quieter, more reflective hour that finally fills in Bonnibel’s backstory, and it’s genuinely satisfying for anyone who’s wondered how the Candy Kingdom came to be. The flashback structure occasionally stalls, but the character work is strong and the ending lands with real weight. Worth your time, especially if you’ve been invested in Bubblegum’s arc for a while.
