Summary
When the gold owned by several beings were devoured by a creature called the “Gut Grinder,” Finn and Jake set out to discover who the culprit is, while trying to sustain Jake’s thoughts that he is the actual Gut Grinder.
Our Take
A middling season one outing that leans hard on Jake’s paranoid spiral, which gets some good laughs once the townsfolk start pointing fingers. The mystery itself is pretty thin and the reveal wraps up too fast to feel earned, but the sheep village stuff is charming enough. Fine for a lazy watch, though this early run has plenty of stronger episodes to pick instead.
