Finn and Jake capture Ice King under order of Princess Bubblegum without even knowing what he has done wrong.
Our Take
A quieter, sadder episode than usual, built around the uncomfortable idea that the heroes might be the bad guys here. The comedy is thin, but the moral uncertainty lands well, and Ice King gets some rare pathos. Worth a watch for fans of the show’s softer side, though it won’t be anyone’s favorite.
