The Crocodile Who Bit a Log

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

While Fionna, Cake, and their friends strategize different ways to take back their lot from Queenie, Huntress Wizard travels to the Heart of the Forest and contends with a secret order of Wizards.

Our Take

Huntress Wizard finally gets her spotlight and the show makes it count, trading the group’s heist planning for something quieter and stranger. The secret order stuff is exactly the kind of weird Adventure Time does best, and it gives her character a real backstory instead of just mystery for its own sake. It’s a slower hour, but a rewarding one if you’ve been waiting to know her.
