Our Take
A quieter hour that leans on Jones and Hannah’s fractured bond, and Barbara Sukowa does heavy lifting with material that could easily go sentimental. The 2007 detour gives the season’s endgame some emotional grounding, though the middle stretch drags when the show explains its own mythology too much. Worth watching for the mother-daughter scenes, even if the plot barely inches forward.
