Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Cole’s partnership with Ramse is put to the test when they travel back to the 1970s to try to prevent the Twelve from murdering a disturbed Vietnam veteran with a connection to the Witness.
Our Take
A grim change of pace that sends Cole and Ramse into 1970s paranoia territory, and the tighter focus on their fractured brotherhood mostly pays off. The veteran-of-the-week plot gets a bit repetitive, but the period details land and the ending stings. Worth watching for the character work even if the case itself is thin.
