CBS has loaded up Season 4 of Elsbeth with three heavyweight additions. Christine Ebersole lands a recurring role as the mother of Elsbeth Tascioni, the brilliant attorney played by Carrie Preston. Per Variety, the character can charm anyone except her own daughter.
Uzo Aduba will guest star as Allegra Miller, a proud New Yorker fighting developers to keep her home. Tyne Daly joins as Helen Adler, a dedicated birder who is not afraid to ruffle feathers when her flock is threatened. They follow an already busy guest list that includes Nicole Scherzinger, Lea Michele, Sam Richardson and Nicholas Braun.
Season 4 premieres Thursday, October 8 on CBS, with new episodes weekly. The Good Wife spinoff is executive produced by Robert King, Michelle King and showrunner Jonathan Tolins, and produced by CBS Studios.
