Bleach Filler List: Every Episode You Can Skip (2026)

Spoiler free. This guide only tells you what is safe to skip, not what happens.

Bleach has 366 episodes and 163 of them, about 45 percent, are filler. The good news: unlike Naruto’s scattered filler, Bleach’s filler comes in big clean blocks, so it is easy to jump around. Cut the list below and you save roughly 80 hours.

Every Skippable Stretch

Episodes Arc Verdict
33 Don Kanonji special Skip. A comedy one-off.
50 The Reviving Lion Skip.
64 to 109 The Bount arc Skip. 45 episodes of anime original villains between Soul Society and the Arrancar. Famously the arc that saps first watch momentum.
128 to 137 Stolen Hogyoku arc Skip. A side conflict that retreads old ground.
147 to 149 Menos Forest Optional. Rukia side story; watch if you want more of her.
168 to 189 New Captain Amagai arc Skip. 22 episodes with a villain fans rank at the bottom.
204 to 205 Rurichiyo feud Skip.
213 to 214, 228 to 229 Assorted one-offs Skip.
230 to 265 Zanpakuto Unknown Tales The exception: 36 episodes of filler that fans genuinely like, because it turns every sword spirit into a character. Skippable, but if you only keep one filler arc, this is the one.
266, 287, 298 to 299, 303 to 305, 311 to 316 Scattered one-offs Skip.
317 to 342 Gotei 13 Invading Army Skip. The final long filler block before the last canon arc.
355 Beach comedy special Skip.

The Best Part

The 2022 sequel, Thousand-Year Blood War, has zero filler and is the best the franchise has ever looked. If the original series wore you down, skip to it: most fans consider it the payoff that justifies the whole journey.
