Howard Gordon and Daniel Pearle return as writers and co-showrunners. In a statement, Gordon said the team always agreed they would only make a second season if they found a story worthy of the first, and they found it. The news arrives alongside a new overall deal for Gordon with Netflix. Season 1 landed in November 2025, drew Emmy nominations for the series and for Danes, and became one of Netflix’s biggest talkers of the season.
