Watch Out, I’m The Lady Boss
Our Review
Eleanor gave everything to help a man climb to power. The moment he reaches the top he discards her. What he and their whole circle never knew: Eleanor is the hidden CEO of Thunder Circle, far more powerful than the supportive-girlfriend role she was playing at his side.
She does not stay invisible long. A mysterious billionaire asks her to marry her, the proposal detonates the high-society pecking order, and everyone who wrote her off scrambles to work out who she actually was. The revenge is structural rather than personal: the show keeps revealing her power in stages and lets the old world react to each layer.
Our take: the hidden-identity revenge fantasy is the most abused premise in vertical drama, and this is its highest-rated execution, 267 million views and an 8.9 on the app. Best single element: the reveal pacing, each episode peels exactly one layer and punishes nobody early. The catch: the mystery billionaire exists mainly to be handsome and useful, and the final third is one long victory lap.
Verdict: 7/10. The definitive watch-it-if-you’ve-been-underestimated fantasy, 64 episodes of about 90 minutes total. Watch it if revenge tastes better with stock options.
