Ana Francisca has a bad premonition. Celina insists on going to Ana Francisca’s house but cannot find her friend. Márcia hits Dr. Paulo with a skeleton because of his indiscretion. Beto, Vera, Jóia and Beleza try to break it up. Terêncio takes them to the police station. Aninha tries on the wedding dress. Celina warns her friend that she is about to cause her a disappointment. Elvira and Leonardo, Danilo’s parents, arrive. Bárbara speaks ill of the bride, but Danilo cuts his aunt off. Celina tells Ana that Danilo sided with the others to profit from the marriage. Aninha cries. Bernardo confirms that Danilo was part of the conspiracy. Elvira remarks on the resemblance between Tonico and Danilo. Mocinha invents an excuse so Ana Francisca does not come downstairs to meet her future in-laws. Elvira is irritated. Danilo gets dressed for the wedding. The guests head to the church. Ana Francisca puts on the dress and asks Márcia to do her hair and makeup because she wants to enter the church looking beautiful. Francisca comes downstairs ready for the wedding. Terêncio forces Olga to attend the wedding, accompanied by Peixoto. Sebastian hears the church bells and thinks everything went wrong. Danilo waits for the bride at the altar. Márcia and Bárbara fight, to Elvira’s horror. Miguel packs his things to leave, but has a premonition and decides to stay. Ana Francisca enters the church with Margarido, who hands her over to Danilo. Miguel goes to the church. The priest asks Aninha if she accepts Danilo, and she says no. Everyone reacts in disbelief. Ana Francisca declares loudly that there was a plot and accuses Danilo of being a swindler. Danilo confesses he knew about the plan but swears he never took part in it. She walks out, leaving him devastated. Olga mocks Ana Francisca. Miguel comforts Ana Francisca and Danilo has a fit of jealousy. Danilo leaves, leaving Aninha crying in the rain. Tonico comforts his mother. Olga seeks out Danilo. Jezebel and Sebastian toast with champagne. He makes her sign a document giving him a director’s position at the factory before telling her the rest of his plan. Vivaldo ends up confessing that the kiss between Olga and Peixoto was a setup. Sebastian proposes they forge a document in which Ludovico leaves everything to Jezebel.
