Jezebel is humiliated! Jezebel fights with Margarido and Dália and ends up with chocolates shoved at her from all sides. Timóteo takes Jezebel to the hotel by cart. Everyone in town sees the scene and knows the revenge has begun. Márcia points out to Vivaldo that if he is family, it will be easier to be forgiven. The mayor promises to marry her as soon as possible, but asks her to keep it secret. Timóteo carries Jezebel into the hotel in his arms so she will not have to use the back entrance. Ana Francisca stops Darlene from going on doing the housework, promises she will go to school, and encourages her to make a Christmas wish. Darlene asks for a real mother, and the two cry in each other’s arms. Danilo accepts the meeting with Ana Francisca. Klaus despairs when Ana Francisca announces that she will put the factory up for sale and withdraw all the factory’s money from the bank. Ana Francisca suffers from having no one to talk to. The image of Ludovico appears in the mirror. Ana Francisca is overjoyed, but Ludovico’s image fades away. Vivaldo throws Klaus out of his office. Márcia asks Ana Francisca not to take revenge on Vivaldo. Yvete warns Ana Francisca that Vivaldo has no intention of marrying Márcia. Olga plays the good girl by setting up the Christmas tree, which enchants Danilo. Klaus wants to marry quickly so he can sell the house and the tiara, and threatens to put Reginaldo in jail if Celina does not agree. Ana Francisca warns Vivaldo that she will move the factory out of town and back the opposition candidate.
