Ana Francisca throws Jezebel out of her house. Tonico identifies Juvenal as the man who kidnapped him. Sebástian tries to flee but is grabbed by Timóteo. Ana Francisca slaps Sebástian and thanks Danilo, who insists he did everything for Tonico, since she never believed in him. Guilherme accuses Celina of having sold herself to the count. Marieta is horrified when Olga states that Terêncio is involved in the kidnapping. Juvenal accuses Sebástian. Sebástian confesses to Ana Francisca that the idea for the kidnapping was Jezebel’s, and insists that he loves her. Ana Francisca reveals nothing to Danilo or to the police, and says she needs to think. Danilo swears he only cares about Tonico and not about Aninha. Margot tells him to listen to his heart. Ana Francisca does not know what to do, because she feels remorse about putting Jezebel in jail since she is Ludovico’s sister. Terêncio tells Sebástian to keep quiet, because they will get him a good lawyer. Ana Francisca throws Jezebel out of her house. Ana Francisca says a tender goodbye to Bernadete and announces that Darlene will stay in the house. Jezebel makes the girl choose, and she runs to Aninha.
