Episode Summary & Review

Tuesday, 26/08/2014 – chapter 62. A botched kidnapping attempt. Jezebel orders Terêncio to kidnap Tonico so that Sebástian can rescue him and impress Ana Francisca. Vivaldo asks Danilo to calm Márcia down, to stop her from making a scene. Lili reveals to Danilo that Olga pretended to be ill to force him to marry her. Olga asks Danilo’s forgiveness for having lied and he accepts. Danilo is stunned to learn that Vivaldo helped Olga fake her illness and, to get revenge on him, reveals to Márcia that he has no intention of marrying her. Márcia threatens to make a scene. Jezebel orders Terêncio to kidnap Tonico. Terêncio suggests to Jezebel that Sebástian be made the author of the kidnapping, so that they have something on him should they need to control him. Jezebel tells Sebástian to meet a criminal who will help him kidnap Tonico. Vivaldo assures Márcia that he intends to marry her. Sebástian works out every detail of the kidnapping with Juvenal. Peixoto suspects Terêncio is plotting something and decides to find out what it is. Jezebel and Roseli exchange insults. Danilo warns Ana Francisca that he will stop her revenge, leaving her worried. Juvenal grabs Tonico. Bernardete hits Juvenal and sends him running. Peixoto sees the scene and understands nothing. Ana Francisca tells Beto that she needs a new secretary and he suggests she hire Selma. Tonico, Mocinha and Bernardete arrive home with their clothes torn, to Ana Francisca’s astonishment.
