The four-episode Marvel Zombies run from 2025 was one of Marvel Animation’s surprises, and at New York Comic-Con the studio confirmed the undead are coming back. Three new specials are headed to Disney+.
The slate, announced by Marvel Studios on October 8: Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier arrives Halloween 2027, Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu follows in 2028, a Moon Knight flavored entry, and Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian closes the trilogy in 2029 with a title treatment that leans hard into Guardians of the Galaxy imagery.
With VisionQuest launching October 14 and X-Men ’97 Season 2 still airing, this was the night Marvel Animation made its long-range plans official. The original Marvel Zombies series, a What If spin-off, is streaming now on Disney+.
