Our Review
The third series goes for the jugular: climate change as the connective tissue, animals as refugees. Structurally it is the same proven format (habitat, hero species, impossible sequence, Attenborough button) but the stakes are edited into the story this time instead of left to the narrator.
The results are gorgeous and a little argumentative, the sea otter and albatross hours are the highlights, and some sequences raise the familiar question of how much distress is worth a perfect shot. The conservation framing is heavier than seasons one and two asked for. Watch the first two for joy, this one for the report.
