Monday, September 28
Pilar orders Tom to find out where Adriana got the money to buy Ulisses’s share of the jewelry store. Pilar and Adriana face off. Laurentino fears the way Mirtes behaves toward Nancy. Elenice learns from Elisa that Adriana received an inheritance from Arthur, and tells Tom when he confronts her. Pilar asks Ademir to annul the gift his brother made to Adriana. Iuri finds out that Andréa lives in a friend’s apartment without paying rent and tells Pilar. Nancy defends Adriana against Silvana’s slanders. Pedro tells Adriana that the reviewing judge has agreed to process her criminal review, and the two celebrate. Heitor sees a photo of Adriana in a news article.
Tuesday, September 29
César and Bia are happy for Adriana. Fernando laments the easy rapport between Felipe and Mau Mau. André tells Dora that he wants to stay with her forever. Iuri warns Pilar that Andréa has no family and is supported by Joel, her former husband. Pilar thinks about hiring Joel for the engagement dinner of Rafael and Andréa. Pedro is puzzled when he receives a telegram from a mysterious sender. Pilar goes looking for Tom.
Wednesday, September 30
Tom accepts a mission against Adriana on Pilar’s orders. Adriana tells Nancy that she intends to ally herself with Tiago. Tom takes Elenice to dinner and assaults a waiter in a jealous rage. Otoniel discovers that Francesca was murdered. Andréa dislikes it when Pilar announces that she will organize the engagement dinner with Rafael. Nancy tells Tiago that Silvana once dated Laurentino. Rosa grows worried when Elenice and Tom disappear. Elenice tells her mother that Tom has been arrested, and asks her to speak with Cléber. Cléber helps Elenice. Carolina refuses to accept that Fábia took the money from Ulisses. Adriana tells Nancy that she needs Tiago by her side at the jewelry store.
Thursday, October 1
Adriana considers becoming president of the jewelry store. Fábia is crushed when Lyris says that she never once supported Ulisses. César tells Bia that his father committed no medical error. Ulisses refuses to accept Carolina’s relationship with Patrick. Pedro hints that Cléber is interested in Elenice. Ingrid finds Pilar’s excitement about Rafael’s engagement dinner strange. Otoniel advises César to keep looking for the truth about what happened to his father. Pedro tells André and Cléber that he will meet the mysterious sender at the office. Pedro can hardly believe his eyes when he opens the office door and finds Heitor Brandão standing there.
Friday, October 2
Heitor tells Pedro that he wants to discover the truth about Arthur’s death. Pilar tells Diná that she has looked into Andréa’s life. Rosa shows Joel Francesca’s recipe notebook. Fernando makes insinuations about Mau Mau to Felipe. Rosa lets Adriana, Nancy and Lyris into Pilar’s house. Silvana takes Andréa in. Adriana storms into Pilar’s house to defend Joel, and her sudden entrance stuns everyone. Heitor asks Pedro not to tell anyone that he is alive. Pilar throws everyone out of her house. Ulisses and Lyris kiss. Rafael confronts Pilar. Francesca frightens Pilar. Andréa gives Rafael back the engagement ring and says that the two of them need some time. Pedro reveals to Adriana that Heitor is alive.
Saturday, October 3
Adriana is stunned to learn that Heitor is alive. Heitor watches Pilar without being seen. Silvana considers finding Andréa a job at the jewelry store. Andréa apologizes to Joel. Adriana tells Otoniel that Heitor is alive, just as Francesca had claimed. Diná pretends not to recognize Denerval. Fábia likes Ademir’s interest in her. Mau Mau does not tell Felipe that he is Adriana’s brother. Ulisses orders Patrick to stay away from Carolina. Edvaldo notices that one candlestick of the pair from Arthur’s house is missing. Pedro introduces Heitor to Adriana.
