First We Feast is expanding the Hot Ones universe again. The company has announced Hot Ones: Game Night, a new series hosted by Joe Santagato of The Basement Yard, and it premieres September 30 at 7 a.m. ET on the First We Feast YouTube channel.
The format swaps the interview table for a board game built around each guest. Celebrity guests roll the dice, take on challenges and questions tied to their own personalities and backstories, and win prizes along the way. Falling behind carries a sting: the infamous Wings of Death. The first guest is Doctor Mike, with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Frank Alvarez among the names lined up for later episodes.
Santagato is an executive producer on the show as well as its host, and he told Variety he was so excited signing on that he forgot he would actually have to eat spicy wings every episode.
