Monday, September 21
Junqueira pushes to spend the night with Vanessa, and she makes the businessman promise he will do whatever it takes to push Bela out of the hospital presidency. Vitor falls ill after taking the medication Alencar gave him, and Vanessa finds out that Peixe is staying at Gabriel’s house. A car chases Zé and Juarez through the streets, and when shots are fired Juarez saves Zé, only for a young pregnant woman, Tamara, to be hit as Nelma begs Bela for help.
Tuesday, September 22
Bela and Sérgio manage to save Tamara and her baby, Helena, and everyone celebrates the success of the surgery. Próspero is surprised to see Melinda with Clemente, and Vitor gives up on following Bela’s case. Peixe is affectionate with Suelen while Dalila admires him, and she makes it clear he should stay respectful toward Bela. Vanessa mistreats Nelma, and Bela reprimands her in front of the hospital staff.
Wednesday, September 23
Bela suspends Vanessa and temporarily removes her from the hospital, while Vanessa starts scheming with Junqueira to push her away from the presidency. Lucas learns that Peixe is living at Gabriel’s house and questions Bela about her feelings for the lawyer, while Gabriel advises Peixe to invest in Dalila. Lia arrives in Rio de Janeiro to live with Iracema, and Bela and the children approve of her as their new helper. The chapter closes with Juarez feeling a strong pain in his chest.
Thursday, September 24
Peixe rushes to help Juarez and calls Bela, and a pharmacist warns Ricardo about a drop in the medicine count at the Hospital Luz pharmacy. Ricardo cuts Alencar from the medical residency program, and Vitor feels the blow. Dalila thanks Peixe for helping Juarez, and a spark flies between the two, right before he confesses to Suelen that Dalila was the one trying to set them up. Peixe and Dalila kiss, and Vanessa confronts Giovana over her betrayal.
Friday, September 25
Vanessa threatens Giovana and forces her to stay at her side so she can return to the hospital, while Peixe and Dalila decide to date in secret. Bela discharges Tamara and baby Helena and crosses paths with an atypical mother. Lucas meets Enzo’s parents, Neide and Wilson, after telling Margô he cannot locate the boy, and Zé is sought by the police over the accident that involved his car. Juarez asks Iara for a new chance, and Zé keeps getting closer to Bela.
Saturday, September 26
Introducing himself as Carlos, Zé quietly probes Bela about the accident that killed Juli, whose birthday has Bela and the children in tears. Iara agrees to give Juarez a new chance, and Enzo thanks Lucas for insisting on his return to school. Melinda mentions the rehearsal for a special presentation at the hospital, and Próspero promises to attend. Vanessa recruits Leandra to join the hospital’s Board, and Zé confronts Juarez about the accident with Juli.
