Summary
Gaal and the Second Foundation reckon with the fall of New Terminus. Day faces judgment on Mycogen. Dusk’s ascension looms.
Our Take
This one splits its time between grief and politics, and the Mycogen half works better than the space mourners. Day’s trial scenes have real bite, even if the verdict feels predetermined. The Gaal material drags in places, mostly setting up bigger moves. Solid midseason table-setting with a few strong performances, worth watching but not the season’s peak.
