Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A flashback reveals the origin of Gaal’s conflict between faith and science. The standoff on Terminus takes an unfortunate turn.
Our Take
The Gaal flashbacks finally give her character some weight, and the Synnax scenes have a real tension that the Terminus standoff keeps undermining with sluggish pacing. Jared Harris is barely in it, which you feel. Still, the emotional groundwork being laid here pays off later, so it’s worth sitting through even when it drifts.
