Summary
An enraged Amy finds new purpose as cracks in her seemingly perfect marriage begin to show. Danny seeks a fresh start for his failing family business.
Our Take
A quieter, sadder hour than the premiere, and mostly better for it. Steven Yeun gets the standout material as Danny tries to dig himself out of a hole he keeps making deeper, while Amy’s marital troubles land with a flatness that doesn’t quite sell yet. Still, the show’s knack for uncomfortable, self-sabotaging behavior keeps things watchable even when the pacing sags.
