Summary
Desperate to leave his mark, Jason Todd confronts the Joker once and for all. But when fatal consequences ensue, Dick Grayson is forced to step away from the Titans and return to Gotham City.
Our Take
A grim, mostly effective season opener that trades the team dynamic for Gotham gloom. Curran Walters sells Jason’s desperation well, and the Gotham relocation gives the show a needed jolt of energy, though the pacing sags in the middle stretch. It’s a solid setup hour that promises more than it delivers, but if you’ve stuck with Titans this long, there’s enough here to keep you around.
