Summary
Five years ago, the original Titans–Robin, Wonder Girl, Aqualad, Hawk, and Dove–live in Titans Tower and fight both lowlifes and super villains like Dr. Light. Deathstroke is hired to kill one of them, while Aqualad deals with his feelings for Wonder Girl.
Our Take
The flashback format works better than expected, giving the old team a warmth the present-day episodes often lack. The Aqualad and Wonder Girl romance is thin, but the slow build toward Deathstroke’s contract gives the hour real weight. It’s a quieter, moodier episode that mostly earns its melancholy, even if the pacing sags in the middle. Worth a watch if you’re invested in the team’s history.
