Our Take
A middling entry that leans on a familiar setup: a kid thrust into adult-sized trouble, with the grown-ups scrambling to keep up. The child actor holds his own better than some of the guest adults, though the story runs out of steam before the final act. Fine if you’re already watching the series, but nothing here will pull in newcomers.
