Our Take
A middling hour that coasts on the cast’s chemistry while the plot spins its wheels. Rani and Esposito keep things watchable, and there are a couple of decent laughs, but the pacing drags badly in the middle stretch and the tension feels manufactured rather than earned. Fine if you’re already invested in the season, but nobody’s converting to this show based on this one.
