Summary
Jared comes up with a morbid plan to reunite the family.
Our Take
Jared’s big scheme gives this episode a dark comic engine that mostly sputters. There are a few solid laughs, and the family’s dysfunction stays believably messy, but the pacing drags badly in the middle stretch and some jokes overstay their welcome. It’s a passable middle-of-the-road episode that fans will sit through, though nobody’s missing much if they skip ahead.
