Summary
A look back at Robin and Nate’s first vacation together. A trip to the tropics and their first time alone since the kids were born. Spoiler Alert. They have an awful time.
Our Take
A flashback episode that fills in Robin and Nate’s history, and it’s fine but not much more than that. The tropical setting gives the show new scenery to be miserable in, and there are a few solid laughs once the vacation starts falling apart. Still, the pacing sags in the middle and it feels like backstory we mostly already knew. Worth a watch if you’re keeping up, but skippable otherwise.
