Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Sure, Los Angeles is now an end of the world wasteland, but it’s not all bad. In fact, for C-student survivor Josh Wheeler, it’s a big improvement.
Our Take
The pilot throws a lot at the wall, mixing teen comedy with post-apocalyptic chaos and fourth wall breaks, and only some of it sticks. Colin Ford is likable enough as Josh, but the jokes are hit-or-miss and the supporting cast gets more shtick than character. Worth a look if you want something breezy and weird, but don’t expect to be hooked right away.
