Episode Summary & Review
Summary
With Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. They make petrol, judge the Jaguar XKR, and talk to Jamie Oliver. Richard shows the disturbing footage of his jet car accident.
Our Take
A heavy episode to come back on, since Hammond’s jet car crash footage lands with real weight and gives the usual banter an undercurrent of genuine relief. The petrol-making challenge is good silly fun and Jamie Oliver is a solid guest. Worth watching, though the mood swings between comedy and something much darker can feel jarring.
