Top Gear celebrates the heritage and power of Lamborghini by dedicating this episode to the Italian supercar maker. Clarkson tries out their latest offering, the Gallardo. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond tries out Lamborghini’s enduring classic, the Miura. James May drives Lamborghini’s iconic 1980s pin up, the Countach. The Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is US stand up comedian Rich Hall.
Our Take
A proper love letter to Lamborghini, with each presenter taking a different era of the marque. Hammond in the Miura is the highlight, capturing what made these cars special beyond the numbers. The Countach segment drags a bit and Rich Hall’s chat is forgettable, but the car porn more than makes up for it.
