Summary
We find the best car for going offroad, the team reflects on the motoring year and hand out some Top Gear awards, and Jeremy tests the Lotus Esprit.
Our Take
A breezy season-ender that mostly works as light entertainment. The “fastest faith” rematch is good silly fun, and the Esprit test has real charm, though the awards segment feels like filler. Nothing here changes your life, but if you’ve enjoyed the season it’s a pleasant enough way to wrap things up.
