Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As Arthur tries to romance an old classmate, the Tick misunderstands and thinks Arthur is leaving him. Meanwhile, Captain Liberty enlists Batmanuel to help stop the publication of some nude photos taken of her by a former boyfriend.
Our Take
This one leans hard on the mistaken-premise gag, and the Tick moping about Arthur “leaving him” wears thin before the episode’s halfway point. The Captain Liberty nude photo subplot has more bite to it, mostly because it lets her be something other than the straight woman. A passable middle episode, but the weakest of the season so far.
