Summary
Baltar plays a game of cat and mouse with Adama and the President, thinking they will kill him once they’ve gotten out of him what they want to know. Lee deals with his feelings for Kara, while struggling to hang on to his marriage.
Our Take
A tense interrogation hour that mostly earns its dread, with Baltar’s mind games against Adama and Roslin making for some of the season’s better cat and mouse moments. The Lee and Kara material drags by comparison, rehashing a love triangle that’s already wearing thin. Worth watching for the political gamesmanship alone, even if the soap opera bits test your patience.
