Summary
As the premiere for the second season unfolds, Adama lay dying leaving Tigh in command. Lee and Roslin have been sent to the brig. An emergency jump goes wrong leaving the Galactica alone in space without the fleet.
Our Take
A tense, claustrophobic opener that thrives on chaos. Tigh’s command crisis works because his flaws feel real rather than manufactured, and the flashbacks to his past with Adama add genuine weight without slowing things down. Some plot threads get rushed, but the paranoia and urgency carry the hour. Worth your time, especially if season one left you hungry.
