Our Take
Jetsam” spends its hour mostly setting the board, but the pieces it places are interesting enough. The Ilus standoff gets properly ugly, and Avasarala’s Martian humiliation gives her something new to chew on besides Earth politics. The Drummer and Ashford thread lags a bit by comparison. A solid connective episode that earns its place, even if it’s clearly building toward bigger swings.
