Summary
Millions of miles from his earthbound girlfriend Hannah, graphic designer Jeff finds himself jobless on Mars after his position is unceremoniously eliminated.
Our Take
A dry, melancholy comedy that leans into workplace absurdity rather than sci-fi spectacle, and that low-key approach mostly works. The deadpan pacing fits Jeff’s slow-motion breakdown, though a few jokes go on longer than they earn. The animation style is stark and appealing. A solid setup episode that’s more intriguing than funny so far, but worth checking back for episode two.
