Sheriff Emery loses his head, Kelly meets Ashy-Slashy, and Ruby and Pablo try to find Ash and Baal.
Our Take
The puppet scenes in the asylum are the highlight here, with Ashy Slashy delivering some of the season’s weirdest and funniest material. The Baal mind games mostly hold tension well, though the middle stretch sags a bit. A solid midseason episode worth a watch for the comedy alone.
