Summary
When Gob interferes at work, Michael gives him his own banana stand in an effort to keep him occupied. But when Michael learns that George Sr. has been using Gob to plot against him, he confronts Gob. The brothers decide to band together to teach George Sr. a lesson once and for all. Meanwhile, Lucille gets a facelift and Tobias and Lindsay vie for Bob Loblaw’s attention.
Our Take
The Michael and Gob team-up finally pays off years of brotherly resentment, and the frozen banana standoff is exactly as absurd as it sounds. Bob Loblaw’s blog subplot drags a bit, but the sight gags and callbacks land hard. A strong, confident hour that shows the show firing on all cylinders near the end of its run.
