Summary
Michael inadvertently lies and tells Rita that he doesn’t have a family. But the lie catches up with him, when the Bluths try to surprise Michael by bringing Rita to a family party and all hell breaks loose. Meanwhile, Lindsay works as the nanny to the family’s new attorney and George Sr. tries to escape the penthouse.
Our Take
A chaotic, joke-packed half hour that leans hard on Michael’s lie to Rita spiraling out of control, and the family party disaster pays it off with some of the season’s best physical comedy. George Sr.’s escape attempts and Lindsay’s nanny gig keep the B-plots moving too. A few gags misfire, but this is the Rita arc hitting its stride. Worth your time.
