Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Ann convinces George-Michael to run for student body president, Michael gets involved and things take a turn for the worse. Michael asks Gob to help remedy the situation, but instead, Gob shoots an offensive campaign video that makes all the students revolt against George-Michael. Meanwhile, Buster has an affair with Lupe and Tobias moves out – sort of.
Our Take
A packed, fast-moving half hour where every storyline lands, from George Michael’s doomed campaign to Gob’s jaw-droppingly offensive video. The Buster and Lupe subplot is a nice absurd side dish, and Michael Cera gets some of his best material this season. A few jokes are cringe on purpose and still land. Worth your time, easily one of season two’s strongest outings.
